To create the highest quality pointclouds, surveyors need to effectively combine their LiDAR survey data with the navigation data of an INS.
To ensure results are the best they can be, the angles measured between the LiDAR and INS coordinate frames need to be precise. However, this can be very difficult and costly, and failure to do so can lead to an unusable pointcloud.
